Carrie Underwood attends the Pregame Show and National Anthem Press Conference with Queen Latifah at the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center as part of media week for Super Bowl XLIV on Thursday (February 4) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. At the conference, Carrie, 26, and Queen Latifah, 39, broke out and sang the American Idol pop-culture song “Pants On The Ground”. “As a songwriter I know we all aspire to write something that is catchy and has a message,” Carrie told USA Today. “And I think the youth of America can learn a lot from Pants on the Ground. And they can pull their pants up … because it causes all kinds of back problems. I’ve seen the studies.” Carrie will sing the national anthem before the big game on Sunday while Queen Latifah will perform “America the Beautiful”. Links:
